Bill Kuehn contacted me to attend the California Outdoor Heritage Alliance dinner/fundraiser on Dec 5th. The people attended from CBH/SAA are Legislative Coordinator;  Bill Kuehn and  leg reps; Myself (Alan Meurer), Wayne Raupe, Robert Moore, Bill Heinz & guests. There were raffle prizes, auction, and an excellent dinner.

The COHA, (which promotes wildlife conservation and protects our hunting heritage) was there to raise money to continue to lobby for ALL hunters rights. Some of the organizations that the COHA fights for include: CBH/SAA, Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance to name a few. 

We interacted with different groups and found out what each one offers to their sport.  I talked to a lady that promotes youth in the outdoors, she does this on her own time and receives no money from anyone. When you love what you are doing, you find ways to spread the word to get people interested in the outdoor sport. 

I walked away learning more about the COHA and different organizations that they are lobbying for. Fun was had by all. I hope that you can attend next year.
